HOW TO INSTALL APK or ANDROID PACKAGE FILE TO YOUR ANDROID PHONE

Google play store is the best place for Android apps, which contain more than 1 million+ apps. But what happened when the app store pulls an app from it store. Yes, Google does it because of many reasons and also sometimes updated version is not available in Google stores as soon as it releases. So, is there any other options that we can install updated version of the app even it's not available in the Google app store or can we install the app which is no longer available in Google app store. The answer is simple "Yes" and the process is known as "sideloading".

Let's see how to do it:

From your smartphone or tablet running Android 4.0 or higher
-> Go to Settings
-> Scroll Down to Security
-> Select Unknown sources (selecting this option will allow you to install apps outside of the Google Play store).

Settings > Security > Unknown sources

Download an App:
Now download the app you want to install and for that you need to find Android Package File also known as APK file, this is another file format that use to distribute and install Android app. You can download the app either directly to your phone or to your PC by using Chrome or Android Browser.

Warning: Don't ever download APK file from untrusted developers and companies.

Installing Process:

After you download the app (APK file) go to the downloads in your phone where the app (APK file) is stored then open the file and install it.
If you downloaded the APK file to your PC then connect your phone to the PC and copy the APK file from PC to your phone and using file manager locate the APK file and install it.

NOTE: Be careful when you download files from other than Google Play Store.
